The Storyteller

Jocelyn is a storyteller and writer who moves between folktales from around the globe, original fantasy worlds, and true stories of women and girls of color who changed history while the world wasn't watching. Across all of it, she explores the same questions: how do we build community across difference, love people well, and honor the earth we're borrowing? She tells stories in the Black oral tradition across the Northeast United States and writes short stories and creative non-fiction. She constantly collects stories, holding them until they are ready to be shared.
